We know he loves Daenerys, and that he always has and will, but the fact that he's still rooting for her and doesn't expect he'll live to see her rule is heartbreaking.

As we know, Jorah's storyline didn't end there in "Stormborn;" he got a visit from the baddest maester-in-training around, Sam Tarly, who arrived bearing a heavy book that he believes contains the cure to greyscale.
