An eagle-eyed Redditor noticed a teeny, tiny detail in the Season 2 finale, when our favourite kids are dancing to the mellifluous note of "Every breath you take" during the Hawkins High School's Snow Ball.

Eleven a.k.a. Millie Bobby Brown is wearing a blue hairband on her wrist as she dances off with Mike:

As keulenshwinger pointed out, it's the same hairband that appears in what are arguably the saddest, most heartbreaking scenes in the whole series: the flashbacks with Chief Hopper and his dying daughter Sara.

In the Season 1 finale flashback, Sara is seen wearing the hairband:

And later, in the hospital, Hopper is wearing the same hairband on his wrist:

And he kept wearing it, until he donated it to Eleven, who he adopted at the end of Season 2.
